IMDB rates it 8.7. Must have been very successful when it got released.

    One of the excellent movies that I have watched recently... The old actress who wants to regain her glory...

    Especially, the last scene in which the hero is killed (although we know it at the beginning of the movie...) it is hard to tell - who needs more pity... the heroine or the hero... But both of them have done their part well..

    All our tamil heroines should watch this movie atleast one time.. God save them
